ABOUT J.A.BOWES CPA, P.C.
- Our firm was founded in 1955 in Pontiac Michigan by Teddy R. Bowes. He was my grandfather.
- My Father, William D. Bowes, joined Teddy in 1957 when returning from service in the Marine Corp.
- I joined my Father in 1985 after completing my degree studies in Texas at LeTourneau University and The University of Texas. I gained my CPA certification in 1986
- I worked for a multi-office firm based in Kilgore Texas from 1981 through 1985.
- Our firm has been in continuous operation in Pontiac Michigan now for 65 years.
- We specialize in bookkeeping, accounting, and payroll services for small to medium-size businesses of various industries. No particular speciality business. We also provide tax services for individuals, trusts, estates, LLC's, and corporations. We also offer financial consulting.
- Our services are personalized with high attention to detail and accuracy. We are not a volume-oriented operation, but rather focus on the quality of work and attention to personal details.
